Accreditation
All Xavier Leadership Center programs are eligible for continuing education units (CEUs). Additionally, through our partnership with the Ohio Society of CPAs, all Xavier Leadership Center programs are eligible for continuing professional education (CPEs) for Certified Public Accountants to maintain their professional competence and credential. That means whether you’re taking a leadership program, a certificate program, or simply enhancing your personal effectiveness, you earn required CPEs toward your CPA accreditation!
Several of our programs are in alignment with industry-specific standards, such as our Project Management Certificate program with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
Digital badging
Completing any professional development is an accomplishment worth celebrating! For all of our programs, whether they are private for your organization or at Corporate University, we offer digital badges that can be shared on social media or added to resumes and portfolios. For certificate programs, digital and hard copy certificates of completion will also be shared to further signify your hard work and achievement.
Meet the team
Susan Whitaker
Director
Susan Whitaker is the Director at Xavier Leadership Center. Susan joined Xavier Leadership Center in 2018 as an Associate Director with over twenty years of experience in prospecting, business capture, event management, and cultivating client relationships. Susan enjoys building internal and external partnerships for Xavier Leadership Center. She is focused on equipping companies and employees with skills that will directly impact their business and propel career goals. Prior to joining Xavier Leadership Center, Susan was the Senior Account Executive for Coney Island working with companies of all sizes in planning their corporate events. Susan is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Communications.
Michelle Debevec
Senior Associate Director of Sales
Michelle joined the team in November of 2018, after working with Xavier Leadership Center as a consultant for several years through her marketing firm, Write and Market LLC. As an Associate Director, Michelle works with outside organizations to grow their people professionally and create cultural change. As long-term partners with these organizations, impactful and lasting programs are created. Michelle has a passion for connecting people. Prior to this role, Michelle served as the Marketing Manager for Xavier Leadership Center and continues to work with the team to tell the story of Xavier Leadership Center. Michelle has a degree in Public Relations from the University of Dayton.
Layne Frederick
Associate Director of Sales
Layne Frederick is an Associate Director at Xavier Leadership Center, where he partners with organizations to develop the right training solution to fit their needs. Layne focuses on building lasting relationships over the long-term, bringing Xavier’s mission to care for the whole person and organization to life. Joining Xavier Leadership Center in 2021, Layne received his bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Mathematics from Wilmington College and his MBA from Xavier University.
Ansley Sheridan
Assistant Director of Operations
As the Assistant Director of Operations at the Xavier Leadership Center, Ansley oversees the many Corporate University programs and the day-to-day functions of the Center. In this role, she leads the management of data, large-scale projects, and maintains strong relationships with Xavier Leadership Center facilitators. A proud graduate of the University of Louisville, Ansley holds a degree in Spanish with a minor in Chinese Studies. Originally from Northern Kentucky, she now resides in Norwood, right in the heart of Xavier’s backyard.
Zach MacMillian
Associate Director of Marketing
Zach MacMillian is the Associate Director of Marketing at Xavier Leadership Center, supporting the sales staff to increase awareness of Xavier Leadership Center, close sales, and deliver programs. Zach has a background in marketing and education. Zach has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Xavier University.
